Accounts Administrator, AAT Qualified

Competitive salary dependent on experience

Working for a local visitor attraction in Kent this is a highly varied accounts admin role that requires an individual that has used SAGE software and is ideally has AAT qualifed.

Your role will be to support the Finance team on a daily basis using Sage 50. It is quite customer involved so requires someone that is administratively strong yet also a positive, upbeat and likeable character that is willing to be flexible to take on new projects as required by the organisation.

Overview of role:

* Supporting the Finance Team

* Supplier invoice checking/cross-referencing

* Updating daily invoice spreadsheets

* Creating invoices and credit control

* Cashiering

* Accounts payable

The successful candidate will have:

* Knowledge and practical experience in administration and finance

* Excellent telephone and communication skills.

* Good customer relationship skills

* Strong team player with a flexible attitude to work priorities.

* Excellent computer skills (MS Office applications and Internet Explorer).

Operations Supervisor

Supporting the Head of Operations in the operation of the Family Park Attraction and third party events.

The post holder will be expected to show initiative in planning their areas of operation, delivering excellent customer service, excellent levels of presentation through cleanliness and signage throughout the site. Health and safety awareness of rides, attraction activities, appropriate staffing levels, event set ups, working to deadlines. You will lead on daily finances, cash and non cash. You should promote an atmosphere of friendliness, warm welcome, interaction with the customers and positive attitudes, which you should encourage and promote within the team. The post holder will ensure all events and day-to-day operations run smoothly.

The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring that all areas of the attraction are staffed and operated effectively to the highest standards. You should ensure safe working conditions, and operation of concessions relating to current legislation.

The Hop Farm

The Hop Farm is one of the most famous and recognisable features of the Garden of England, boasting the world’s largest collection of iconic Victorian Oast houses. We open our gates to over 500,000 visitors every year offering a wealth of events and attractions for all ages to enjoy. Stretched over 500 acres of beautiful countryside we can hold an array of functions and events throughout the season.

The Role

To assist one of our teams across site in each of our venues to create the perfect experience for our customers and clients. Candidates may be required to work in a variation of settings both outside on our attraction or within any of our catering outlets or function rooms, during all functions including weddings, festivals, and the general running of the park. Candidates over the age of 18 will be required to work behind the bar during some of our biggest Events and Parties. Full training will be issued on site.

Hours

Shifts are flexible and can fit around School or current employment. Shifts can range from early mornings to late evenings, 7 days a week, dependant on events and functions taking place.

Candidates

Will have prior experience in Customer Service or Hospitality and Catering industry, however it is not essential.

Will have their own transport due to the location of The Hop Farm.

Must be over the age of 16.
